Project Type: Tile to Tin Roof Conversion
Build Type: Residential
Location: Yamba, NSW – Riverfront Property
Project Scope: Roofing Matters Australia was engaged to upgrade the roof of a large residential property, including a dormer window and quadruple lock-up garage, from traditional tile to modern Colorbond steel. The conversion aimed to address long-standing leaks and improve the property’s overall roof performance and aesthetic appeal.
Previous Challenge: The existing tile roof had experienced significant leaking issues, leading to water damage and the need for a more durable, long-lasting solution.
Roofing Matters Solution: To resolve the issue, we installed a Colorbond corrugated steel roof in the stylish Monument color, paired with Lysaght guttering in Night Sky. This included updating the downpipes and drainage system to improve water flow and prevent future leaks, while retaining and reusing the existing metal fascias for a seamless look.
Why Choose Colorbond Steel? Colorbond steel is a premium roofing material that offers exceptional durability, energy efficiency, and fire resistance. It’s a preferred choice for homeowners across NSW due to its longevity and ability to withstand the harsh Australian climate. With a range of 22 colors, including 6 premium matt finishes, Colorbond gives homeowners the flexibility to choose a roof that perfectly complements their property’s architectural style.
